Even if the world around you tries so hard to make you feel bad and make you doubt yourself, don’t believe it. Despite the judgmental glances and thoughtless words, you must keep moving forward. Because tomorrow, you’ll still be here, again and again. Build your resilience and create your own happiness.
Fulfilling your dreams and pushing yourself to new heights are essential to living a beautiful life—the one you aspire to. Paying attention to the most jealous people or those who are unhappy serves no purpose. The only things you’ll get are doubt and self-questioning—which is definitely not the goal! Turn your back on them and look in the direction that appeals to you—the one where you feel good, but above all, the one that’s in harmony with your values. The values you’ve championed for so long but hide for fear of being even slightly different from the mainstream.
They say the grass is always greener on the other side, but in the end, it’s just an illusion. Even if you think you’re wrong, believe in yourself to the very end, stand your ground, and make your case. Because there isn’t just one right path—on the contrary, many paths can lead you to the same results while still standing your ground. You win, and you deserve it. Letting yourself be pushed around is too easy.
As women, now more than ever, we must stand tall and assert our rights loud and clear. Even if this space has been practically reserved for men, you can—and must—believe that it’s possible. The sky’s the limit, my dear. We can no longer turn a blind eye and stay stuck in our box, defined by a standard that desperately needs to be dusted off once and for all. Nothing is set in stone for anyone—if the shirt fits, wear it!
Being different is a quality to embrace, not to hide. Do what you love, even if you have to move heaven and earth, sea and world. We have one life to live, so while we’re at it, go overboard sometimes, push past your limits, and find ways to increase the possibilities of achieving the goals that seemed impossible just yesterday.
I believe in it, even if others don’t—what about you?
