My friends, I’m writing you this little love letter today. I can’t name all of you here, but I hope you’ll recognize yourselves in my words.
My friends, I’m writing because I miss you so much. I often dream of times when we’d finally get together to talk, just like before, looking each other in the eyes. Laughing over nothing, playing role-playing games, or having a video game tournament.
My friends from college, what a strange world our young adult lives were. Our time together is forever etched in my memory. How lucky I am to have met you here, just as I was learning to live. You helped me discover even more about myself, ensuring that my time in this crazy world of music rings out gloriously in my ears with all your magical notes. You are sources of inspiration for everyone who, like me, will have the chance to spend time with you every day. Keep doing great things—you’re incredible!
My high school friends, I haven’t forgotten you! My first friends from adolescence—a thankless time, yet so formative. I’m happy to see you thriving in your lives, just as you helped me grow in mine. I didn’t realize just how precious my friends were to me, but believe me, you mean the world to me.
My childhood friends, my precious companions from a time when time didn’t exist. How I’d love to have you by my side to laugh about our childhood games for an endless evening. I’m so grateful to have you in my memories, but especially to still have you in my present. Despite the distance and our different life paths, thank you for who you are!

To all of you, my friends, I miss you. I feel so far away, despite everything that’s supposed to bring people closer together in this technological age. I often envy those who have their friends and family close by.
